Question 24783: how do you solve for x:
log(5x)=10, when the base is 2
Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log(base 2)(5x) = 10
logs are exponents. I say it before I start any problem with logs.
the equation says
log(blah-blah-blah) = 10
so the exponent is 10 aha!
2 is the base aha!
remember - logs are exponents or powers, same thing
