Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Rewrite the expression as a sum, difference or product of simpler logarithm
log5 [6p/5k]
= log5(6) + log5(p)- log5(5) - log5(k)
---
= log5(6) + log5(p) - 1 - log(5)k
-----------------------------------------------
log5(5) is 1 because log5(5) means "the exponent
of 5 that gives you 5. That exponent is "1".
==================================================
Similarly log5(25) is 2
and log5(1/5) is -1
