Using logarithms:
Take the log of both sides.
Expand the left side using the distributive property.
Add xlog2 to both sides.
Factor the x.
Simplify the right side.(loga+logb=log(ab))
Divide both sides by log6
Evaluate using your calculator or table of logarithms.

Check:
= 1.5295923...
