If log (subscript b)M=x and log (subscript b)N=y, express the following in terms of x and y.
A. log(subscript N) b = log(base b)(b)/log(base b)(N) = 1/y
--------------------------------------------------------------
B. log(subscript N) square root of b = (1/2) log(base N) b =
= (1/2)(1/y) = 1/(2y)
--------------------------------------------------------------
C. log(subscript M/N) b
= [log(base b) b] / [ log(base b)b / log(base b)(M/N)]
= 1/[log(base b)M - log(base b)N]
= 1/[x-y]
