Question 196623: sin4x=1/2 sin 2x
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sin4x=1/2 sin 2x
2sin(2x)cos(2x) = 1/2sin(2x)
2cos(2x) = 1/2
cos(2x) = 0.25
2x = 1.318, 1.318 + 2pi radians
2x = 4.965, 4.965 + 2pi radians
x = 0.309, 1.8798, etc
