ln(x+2)-ln(4)+ln x = 0
ln[(x+2)/(4)]+ln x = 0
ln[x(x+2)/(4)] = 0
x(x+2)/(4) = e^0
x(x+2)/(4) = 1
x(x+2) = 4
x^2 + 2x = 4
x^2 + 2x - 4 = 0
