Log (10^3)= ln(x)-ln(7) (asking for exact answer)
----------------
3 = ln(x) - ln(7) (Log is the exponent of 10)
ln(x) = ln(7) + 3
ln(x) = ln(7) + ln(e^3) Same thing, 3 is the ln of e^3
ln(x) = ln(7e^3) Adding logs means to multiply
x = 7e^3
