Question 146340: I really need help with this question
log(12,2)+log(12,18)+log(12,4)=x
Answer by aswathytony(47) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log(a,m) + log(a,n) = log(a, m*n)
log(12,2) + log(12,18) + log( 12,4) = x
log (12, 2*18*4) = x
log(12, 144) = x.
log( m,n) =x then n= m^x.
i.e. 144 = 12^x
12^2 = 12^x
i.e. x= 2.
