Question 135326: This one is driving me crazy. Can someone please help.
Use properties of logarithms to condense the logarithmic expression. Write the expression as a
single logarithm whose coefficient is 1. Where possible, evaluate logarithmic expressions.
1/6(log2x+log2y)-2^log2(x+9)
It is lined up strange on my homework and was hard to understand.
Thank you in advance

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1/6)(log2x+log2y)-2^log2(x+9)
------------------------------------
= (1/6)*(log(4xy)) - (x+9)
= log(4xy)^(1/6)-(x+9)
