Question 131509: Hello could you help me with my homework on logarithms? Its due tomorrow
Here's the question
Write each logarithmic expression as a single logarithm.
1/3(log base 4 of x + log base 4 of z)-2log base 4 of y
Thanks so much i really appreciate it!!

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1/3)(log(base 4) x + log(base 4)z) - 2log(base 4) y
---------------
log(base4)x^(1/3)z - log(base4)y^2
= log(base4[x^(1/3)z/y^2]
