If α and β are the roots of the equation 3x^2 - 25x + 30 = 0 , find the value of log(α) + log(β).

If α and β are the roots of the equation 3x^2 - 25x + 30 = 0,  then according to Vieta's theorem  

    α*β =  = 10.


Hence,  log(α) + log(β) = log(α*β) = log(10) = 1.    ANSWER
