If 5 is the base, you have
log(base 5)sqrt(0.1)
= log(sqrt(0.1))/log(5)
= -0.715338...

If you meant log[5*sqrt(0.1)], you have
= log5 + log(sqrt(0.1))
= 0.19897...
=================
