Question 115288: 3^x=6^(x+1)
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3^x=6^(x+1)
xlog(3) = (x+1)log(6)
x(log(3)-x(log6) = log6
x[log(3)-log(6)] = log 6
x = log(6)/[log(1/2)]
x = -2.58496...
