log 5 x=z
z+(3/z)=7/2
z^2-3.5z+3=0
2z^2-7z+6=0
(2z-3)(z-2)=0
z=3/2 and z=2
log 5 x=2
x=25 That checks in that 2+3/2=7/2
log 5 x=1.5
x=11.18 that checks in that 1.5+3/1.5=7/2
