Question 110790: Does this wind up using the quotient rule, where the first step is to separate the left side as ln_49 - ln_1-1e^3x = 68? After that, if it's right, I'm stuck as to how to continue.
Solve the following exponential equation:
49/(1-1e^3x)=68
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the following exponential equation:
49/(1-1e^3x)=68
-------------------
49/68 = 1-e^(3x)
e^(3x) = 1-(49/68)
e^3x = 0.27941176...
Take the natural log of both sides to get:
3x = -1.275068..
x = -0.4250229...
