100 ^ (log(10^6)) is equal to 100 ^ (6 * log(10)) which is equal to 100 ^ 6.
that's because log(10) = 1 and 6 * log(10) = 6 * 1 = 6.
that's your solution.
if you use your calculator to find 100 ^ (log(10^6)), it will tell you that the result is 1 * 10 ^ 12.
1 * 10 ^ 12 is the same as 10 ^ (2 * 6) which is the same as (10 ^ 2) ^ 6 which is the same as 100 ^ 6.
