Solving the equation is rather easy, since we have log base 6 on both sides.

We get , so your answer is valid.

However, it can be simplified in many ways, without resorting to an irrational approximation obtained with a calculator.



All of those forms are equivalent. In most situations either or would be considered the best forms.
