Question 1090497: Express in expanded form if possible. Thanks for helping.
( x^3) * sqrt(y)

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The first is 3 log b(x) and the second is (1/2) log b (y)
These are combined and added to get 3 log b (x)+(1/2) log b (y)
Check using b=2 x=4 and y=32
3log 2 (4)+(1/2)log2 32
6 plus (1/2)*5=8.5
log 2(64*sqrt(32)=log 2(64*4 sqrt(2))=log 2 (256 sqrt(2)=log 2(361.984)
2^8.5-362.04
