Question 1063491: 1/3logx equal to -2
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If this is (1/3) log x=-2
Then log x=-6
and x=10^(-6)
or
log x^(1/3)=-2
and raising both to the 10 power
x^(1/3)=10^(-2)
cubing everything
x=10^(-6)
---------------
if this is 1/(3 log x)=-2
Then -6 log x=1
log x=-1/6
x=10^(-1/6)
which is 1/10^(1/6)
