Question 1059078: 10^(2x-1) + 4 = 20
solving expontential equation

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
10^(2x-1) + 4 = 20
10^(2x-1) = 16
2x-1 = log(16)
2x = log(16) + 1 = log(16) + log(10) = log(160)
x = log(160)/2
Or
x = log(sqrt(160))
