You are probably having trouble reading
log expressions
-----------------
Say you have an expression that begins
with "log", then read it this way:

This is a log (which is just an exponent ) . The
log is on the other side of the equals sign.

What you have next is:
log( the base of the log and the final result )
The log needs a base. Say the base is
and the log is . Now I have:
and this equals something.
Say it equal . Now I can put it all

Remember the left side of the log
expression is TELLING you that the
right side is a log, or expononent.
