log (6,4) = log (6, (x-1)) - log (6,5)

Note: logs are exponents. When you add them you are multiplying.
When you subtract them you are dividing.

log6(4) = log6(x-1) - log6(5)
--------
log6(4) = log6[(x-1)/5]
--------------------------------
4 = (x-1)/5
------
x-1 = 20
x = 21
