Question 997927: If the area is 529 and the perimeter 92, what do each side measure?
Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The shape must be a square of side 23.
Since Area = side^2, we have
529 = s^2
s = 23
Perimeter = 4s = 92
s = 23
Any other lengths of sides would not satisfy both requirements.
