WITHOUT AT LEAST ONE ANGLE YOU CANNOT CALCULATE THE AREA OF THIS YARD.
IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN TRY THIS.
TAKE FOUR STICKS ONE 10.1 INCHES LONG, ONE 10.6 INCHES LONG, ONE 19.5 INCHES LONG & THE LAST ONE 18.1 INCHES LONG. NOW CONNECT THEM END TO END TO FORM A RECTANGLE SO YOU CAN COMPRESS THE OPPOSITE CORNERS. YOU WILL FIND THAT HE AREA CAN BE INCREASED & SUBSTANTIALLY DERCREASES JUST BY COMPRESSING OR EXPANDING OPPOSEITE CORNERS. ERGO YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE CORNER ANGLE DEFINED TO STABILIZE THE SHAPE THEN THE AREA CAN BE CALCULATED.
