Question 689938: if three angles in a scalene triangle are know how do i find the length of the sides
Answer by KMST(5328) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
With two angles of a triangle, you would always be able to find the measure of the third angle.
However, an infinite number of similar triangles have the same three angles. They all will have the same ratios of side lengths, but the side lengths will be all smaller or all larger.
You need another piece of information, like knowing the perimeter, or the length of the side opposite a certain angle.
Maybe you are expected to find just the ratios of the side lengths, or express the length of the two longer sides as a function of the length of the shorter side.
With enough information (or to find ratios), I would try to use the law of sines.
If the name law of sines sounds unfamiliar, maybe your triangles are right triangles, and you are expected to use trigonometric ratios.
