Find the number that is (4/5) of the way from -3(2/3) to 4(1/4).
----------
The distance between the points is:
11/3 + 17/4 =(44+51)/12=95/12
(4/5) of (95/12)= 19/3
Adding 19/3 to -11/3 you get 8/3
-----------
The answer to the problem is 8/3
