We know that if a polygon has 'n' sides, then the measure of each exterior angle is 360/n degrees.


But each exterior and corresponding interior angle are supplementary. So

90 + 360/n = 180

Solve for n:

90 + 360/n = 180

90n + 360 = 180n

360 = 180n-90n

360 = 90n

360/90 = n

4 = n

n = 4

So there are 4 right angles and 4 sides.


So this polygon is a rectangle.
