P = 4s;s
P=4s is the formula for the perimeter of a square. Perimeter=4*side
I believe you are being asked to solve this formula for s. In other words, they want you to get s all by itself on one side of the = sign. We need to follow the rules of algebra to do this. Whatever you do to one side of the equation you have to do to the other.
Divide both sides by the coeffiecient of s, 4.
