Question 388334: The vertices of a quadrilateral are A (0,0) B (x1,0) C (x2,y2) D (x3,y3). Show that if the diagonals AC, BD have the same midpoint then show y3=y2 and x3=x2-x1
what I got is
0+x2/2 , 0+y2/2 = (x2/2 , y2/2)
I don't know how to do the rest please show me step by step.
Thank you!

You've just shown that the midpoint of AC is

Now find the midpoint of BD to get

Since the AC and BD have the same midpoint, this means that

Which therefore means that

I'll leave the rest to you. Let me know if you need more help.
