Question 323017: which type of dilation is determined by a scale factor of 1/3?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
which type of dilation is determined by a scale factor of 1/3?
------------------------
The y-values will only be (1/3) as high as they would be if
the (1/3) factor was not there.
So the curve will be flattened because of the 1/3 factor.
Not sure what that is called, but that is what happens.
