Find the ordered pair that is a solution to this system of inequalities
y>x+1
y>-x +3
----
Solve the equality.
y = x+1
y = -x+3
---
2y = 4
y = 2
------------
Then x = 1
-------------
That means the "boundary" ones of these two inequalities
meet at (1,2)
--------------------------
Now test a value > (1,2) [like (1,4)] in the inequality statements:
y>x+1
y>-x +3
----------
4 > 1+1 true
4 > -1+3 true
-------------------
Solution:
y > (1,2)
