Would this pathway be around the OUTSIDE or the INSIDE of the flower bed? Assuming it is around the OUTSIDE of the flower bed, the radius of the outside edge of the circular flower bed is 15 feet, with the inside radius being 12 feet. Also, the formula for area of a circle is A=+pi%2A+r%5E2

Total Area = pi%2A15%5E2+=+225%2Api+ square feet.
Area of Bed= pi%2A+12%5E2+=+144%2Api square feet.

Area of the pathway = 225%2Api+-+144%2Api+=+81%2Api = 254.47 square feet (approximately).
