Find the total surface area of a cylinder with radius 3 and height 8.

The area of the circular base and top:
A = pi*r^2 = 9pi each top and bottom

For the cylinder:
A = 2pi*r*h = 48pi
Total = (57 +9 + 9)pi
= 75pi
= ~ 235.62 sq units
