Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I would like to know the formula to find the radius of a circle, when I only have a portion of a circle. chord and arch. I can't remember the formula.
---------------
Draw the perpendicular bisector of the chord. It must pass thru the center.
Draw a second chord. Draw the perpendicular bisector of that chord.
The center is at the point of intersection of the two perpendicular bisectors.
At this point you will need additional information to find the lenght of the
radius.
----------------
I don't believe there is a general formula.
