2nd picture is also a triangle with Z,X,Y at each corner. Z to X is 4m, X to Y is 7m, the 3rd side is blank of has nothing written on it.

The similar triangles are WUV and ZXY.


The corresponding vertices (angles) are W and Z; U and X; V and Y.


The corresponding sides are WU and ZX; WV and ZY; UV and XY.


The similarity coefficient is the ratio WU : ZX = 20 : 4 = 5.


To find the unknown side UV, you have this proportion from similarity

    UV : XY = 5 : 1.


From this proportion,  UV = 5*XY = 5*7 = 35 meters.    ANSWER
