Sarah wants to drop a water balloon on her brother. She looks out a window on the second floor of her house and sees her brother standing at the end of the driveway. Which concept correctly models the situation from Sarah's perspective so she can find the distance her brother needs to walk before she should drop the balloon?
angle of elevation
bearing
angle of depression
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From her standpoint, it is the angle of depression (from her brother's standpoint, it would be the angle of elevation).
Bearing doesn't matter, because he has to be a certain distance away, and the direction of that won't change the angle of depression, which will always be the same.
