 Question 50587: I have worked this problem til I cant see straight. The ans in the book shows an answer of 15-3y. I show 18-2y so I think I am leaving out a step someplace. The problem is 3[6-(y+1)]. would I not do the () first which is 2y so the problem would now be 3[6-2y] so this would be 3(6-2y) 18-4y? Can you please not really show me the ans per say but show me step by step where I went wrong.
