Question 92170: 3 ( 3x – 1) = 3x – 2 ( 3 – x )
Answer by anraymer(35)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 ( 3x – 1) = 3x – 2 ( 3 – x )
Distribute:
6x - 3 = 3x - 6 + 2x
Combine like terms:
6x - 3 = 5x - 6
Subtract 5x from both sides to get the x's all on the same side:
x - 3 = -6
Lastly, add 3 to both sides:
x = -3
