Question 86912: Tutor could you help me please: I need to multiply and simplify the following:
6x^2/10x^3*5x/12
AND
9/y-6*y/5
Thank you!!!!

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[6x^2/10x^3] * [5x/12]
= [3/5] * [5x/12]
= [x/4]
----------------------
AND
---------
[9/y-6] * [y/5]
Question:
Is the denominator of the 1st fraction "y" or is it "y-6"?
You can avoid this question by properly using parentheses.
