Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify (1-(3/x^3))/(4+(1/X^2))
-----
[(x^2-3)/x^3] / [(4x^2 +1)/x^2]
------
Invert the denominator and multiply:
-------
[(x^2-3)/x^3] * [x^2/(4x^2 +1)]
------------
= [(x^2-3)/x]
------
= [(x^2-3)/x(4x^2+1)]
