You can put this solution on YOUR website!
b/4 - 2b-3/6 = b/3 - b + 5/8

first I would clear the fractions by multiplying by 242
242(b/4 - 2b-3/6 = b/3 - b+5/8)
48b - 484b - 121 = 64b - 242b + 120

next I would combine like terms
-436b - 121 = -178b + 120

now add 436b to both sides
-121 = 268b + 120

now subtract 120 from both sides
-241 = 268b

finally divide by 268
-241/268 = b

b/4 - 2b-3/6 = b/3 - b + 5/8
242(b/4 - 2b-3/6 = b/3 - b + 5/8)
48b - 484b - 121 = 64b - 242b + 120
-436b - 121 = -178b + 120
-121 = 268b + 120
-241 = 268b
-241/268 = b
