Find a common denominator between your two fractions. Since both of your denominators are prime numbers, the common denominator is just the product of the two denominators. Multiply both sides of your equation by the common denominator; the fractions will go away and you will have a happy math paper.

Hi,

  |Multiplying thru by 15 so as all denominators = 1

  

 10 + 60x = 45x - 12

  15x = -22

    x= -22/15
