3*10^8 M/S THUS IT TAKES
CONVERT THE DISTANCE 149*10^9 TO 10^8 (1490*10^8). WE NOW DIVIDE
1490*10^8/3*10^8
1490/3=496.67 SECONDS FOR LIGHT TO REACH THE EARTH.

Distance to be traveled = 149 x 10^9 m
Time taken = distance/speed
= (149 x 10^9)/ (3 x 10^8)
= 49.7 x 10
= 497 sec.
= 8.28 min
It takes approximately 8.28 min for light to reach earth.
