You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how to simplify a rational expression...
2x^+2x^2-4x
____________
x^3+2x^2-3x
======================
Factor the numerator and the denominator:
[2x(x^2+x-2)] / [x(x^2+2x-3)]
----
Factor Again:
[2x(x+2)(x+1)]/[x(x+3)(x-1)]
----
Cancel any factors common to numerator and denominator
such as x:
= [2(x+2)(x+1)]/[(x+3)(x-1)]
-------------------------------
