Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x^2 + 2x - 5 = 0
x^2 + 2x/3 = 5/3
(x + 2/6)^2 = 4/36 + 60/36 = 64/36
x + 2/6 = +- 8/6
x = -2/6 +- 8/6
x = -5/3 and x = 1
Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3X^2+2X-5=0
(3X+5)(X-1)=0
3X+5=0
3X=-5
