Question 555017: ((2y^2-7y-15)/(3y^2-8y-3)) X ((9y^2-1)/(4y^2-9)) / ((y^2+3y-10)/(2y^2-9y+9))
It say to complete it but not to multiply factors.
And also everything is squared, the -7y or whatever after the ^2 is not included in the exponent.
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
as far as i can tell, your answer is number 4 in the attached diagram.
number 1 is my interpretation of your problem statement.
number 2 is the same equation after it has been factored and some obvious common terms in the numerator and the denominator have been removed because they will cancel out.
number 3 is making a/(b/c) equal to a*(c/b) and then removing some more obvious common terms in the numerator and the denominator that will cancel out.
number 4 is the result.
