Ok well 3/4 n means n belongs to 3/4 so 3/4 n= 3*n+9. Then we would times each side by 4/3 to get n=12/3 n+ 36/3 then we simplify to get n=4n+12. We then subtract each side by 4n to get -3n=12. Then divide each side by -3 and you get n=-4. Hope this helps!!
