Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4(-3x-5)-(10+4x)

4(-3x-5)-1(10+4x)

4(-3x)+4(-5)-1(10)-1(4x)

-12x-20-10-4x

(-12x-4x)+(-20-10)

-16x-30

So 4(-3x-5)-(10+4x) = -16x-30
