The sum of two integers is 93. If one of them is (– 59), find the other.
two integers would be -59 and x for the unkown
so the equation would be x+ (-59) = 93
so we would eliminate the -59 from both sides to simplify for x
x+ (-59) = 93
+59 +59
x = 152
so the two integers would be 152 and -59
