Question 328589: how can i simplify :
(-3x^2 + 4x - 7 ) + (2x^2 - 7x + 8)?
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Both sets of parentheses have + signs in front of them (the one on the left the + sign is understood) That means you can just get rid of the parentheses altogether.
Then just collect like terms,
terms, then
terms, then constant terms. Pay careful attention to the signs when you add things together.
